Commercial real estate agents in Toronto handle office, retail, industrial, multi-residential and land deals, for buyers, sellers and tenants. The work goes well beyond a house sale: lease terms, zoning, environmental history, cap rates and tenant covenants all affect what a property is really worth. We list 34 agents and brokerages in this category.
What to look for
Start with asset-class experience. An agent who leases downtown office space in the Financial District is not automatically the right person to buy a light-industrial building near Pearson or a retail strip on Queen West. Ask for recent comparable deals, how they pull financials and rent rolls, and which lawyers, lenders and inspectors they work with. Check that they are registered with RECO and, where relevant, ask about designations such as SIOR or CCIM.
How our scoring helps
We score each listing on verifiable signals so you can compare before you call. The ranked commercial real estate guide shows who comes out on top, and the methodology page explains what we measure and how we weigh it. Use the ranking to build a shortlist of three, then interview each one on your specific property type.
